You will visit the remains of the Acropolis of Rethymno on the hills of Palaikastro and discover the mighty fortifications designed by Sanmicheli in 1538, which Sforza Pallavicino transformed into a pentagonal fortress from which to dominate the city. At the centre of the fort, you will find the Ibrahim Khan mosque with its serene and peaceful atmosphere.
