How does msc Upgrade PROGRAM Work?
1. FIND OUT IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A CABIN UPGRADE
If you already have a booking number and have paid for your cruise, we will contact you by email to propose a cabin upgrade.
In case you didn't receive our e-mail, you can still check if you are eligible for an offer with the eligibility form, and make a bid to upgrade your cabin in a higher category.
Please be assured that your agent can guide you through the upgrade process, if you booked your voyage through a travel agent.

2. CHECK THE CABIN UPGRADES AVAILABLE AND MAKE YOUR BID
If you're eligible, you can discover the best cabins available for an upgrade and enter the amount you are willing to pay. Each bid is per person and will automatically be doubled for the second guest in your cabin. The 3rd and 4th guests will receive the category upgrade free of charge. Bidding on multiple rooms will increase your chances of getting an upgrade, but you will only be charged for one upgrade.
Remember to provide us with a valid credit card, even though you will not be charged during this phase

What is MSC UpGrade?
MSC UpGrade is a bid-based cabin upgrade Program where Guests can score fantastic upgrades on select cabins and voyages.
Is the MSC UpGrade Offer amount per cabin per day or for the entire duration of the cruise?
MSC UpGrade Offer amount is per cabin for the entire duration of the cruise.
How does the MSC Upgrade offer work if I’m part of a group or travelling with another reservation?
Each upgrade Offer is reviewed individually. Therefore, MSC Cruises can’t guarantee that all reservations traveling together will be upgraded, or that upgraded cabins will be located near each other.
Can I cancel the MSC UpGrade offer after it has been accepted?
No, once your bid is accepted, your credit card will be charged immediately, and the upgrade amount paid is final and non-refundable or non-transferable.
What will happen with the promotions I already have if I’m upgraded through MSC UpGrade?
You get to keep the promotions you already have based on the cabin category initially booked.
Can I choose the location or specific features of the cabin?
No, guests cannot request specific cabins or ship location.
Can I modify or cancel my MSC UpGrade Offer after I submit it?
You may modify or cancel your Offer if it has not already been accepted by MSC Cruises and provided credit card has not been charged.
When will I know if my MSC UpGrade Offer got accepted?
The Offer can be accepted at any time from the moment it is submitted until the voyage departure. You will receive an email notifying you if your Offer has been accepted.
If I’m travelling with another cabin, can I bid only once through MSC UpGrade and, if accepted, cancel the second reservation and move the guests into the upgraded cabin?
No, if your party is occupying more than one cabin , you’ll need to submit an individual bid for each reservation. Please understand that these bids are reviewed independently, so MSC Cruises cannot guarantee both cabins will receive an Upgrade. Should one reservation be upgraded and the other isn’t, guests from the un-upgraded cabin cannot be transferred into the upgraded one. All reservations cancelled within the penalty period will be subject to MSC’s standard cancellation fees outlined in the Booking Terms and Conditions.
Why did I or someone “travelling with” not receive an invite to bid on an MSC UpGrade?
To receive an email invitation to Bid on a cabin upgrade, you must be opted in to MSC marketing emails. Also, the MSC UpGrade Program is subject to availability and may not be available for all voyages or in all cabin categories. If you wish to ensure a particular cabin category, you should book your desired cabin category at the time of booking.
What will happen with my cabin experience in case I win an MSC UpGrade?
The MSC UpGrade Program is a cabin upgrade only. Guests will keep their original promotions and experiences. The only exception is when upgraded to AUREA or YACHT CLUB cabins, the Guest will receive the associated Aurea or Yacht Club experience benefits of their new cabin.
