MSC Grandiosa: discover the new standard set for luxury on-board

On the 9th of November 2019, our newest and grandest ship will be launched in Hamburg, Germany! The MSC Grandiosa is the first of our Meraviglia Plus class ships and will set a new standard for luxury cruises. With a total of 2,421 cabins, MSC Grandiosa will welcome 6,334 guests for a holiday to remember across the Mediterranean. Cruises vary in length from two-night long weekend trips to a full fourteen nights that give you ample time to explore some of the best destinations in the Mediterranean while you enjoy everything the Grandiosa has to offer during your stay on-board.
Its unprecedented size enables us to bring you even more amenities and options than any of our other ships. There will be a total of twelve restaurants catering to serve you almost any cuisine you could want. One night a week, an exclusive menu created by one of the world’s top ten chefs, Harald Wohlfahrt, will be available on the à la carte menu and the MSC Yacht Club. The ship’s interiors are a piece of art and above the spectacular indoor promenade you’ll find the longest LED dome at sea, and our stunning Swarovski crystal staircases will take your breath away! If fine design is something you enjoy, then you’ll also appreciate the special two-year exhibition, by famed impressionist artist Edgar Degas called ‘Degas Danse Dessin’, on display in the L’Atelier Bistrot, where 26 of his beautiful drawings are available to view exclusively aboard the MSC Grandiosa. For MSC Yacht Club guests, we give maritime luxury a new meaning aboard the Grandiosa: The Royal Suites, stylish One Pool Deck, and the elegant Top Sail Lounge with an all-inclusive gastronomy are all exclusive to Yacht Club guests and make for a truly opulent experience. As the newest of our ships, the MSC Grandiosa will be kitted out with the latest technology, including ‘MSC for me’ to help you relax while on board. Every cabin will have a virtual cruise assistant called Zoe, which can answer all your questions in seven different languages! New technology won’t just be for your comfort however; it also enables us to reduce our environmental impact through innovative new features that make the MSC Grandiosa more sustainable. Compared to our earlier Fantasia ship class, the Grandiosa will use 28% less fuel per passenger and per cruise! Additions don’t stop there; there will also be new entertainment options, including the Cirque du Soleil at Sea which is performed in our cutting edge and purpose-built theatre. There’s also a full-sized bowling alley, and specially designed kids play areas and places for teenagers to have fun as well, so that there’s something enjoyable for everyone to do. While the children enjoy these facilities, you might prefer to relax in the Balinese spa, or spend an evening in one of the many bars & lounges which cater to diverse preferences. With more space than any of our other ships, the MSC Grandiosa will be able to offer you and even wider variety of ways to spend your holiday with us while on board our grandest ship yet.
All these amazing features and more will be available for you to experience on-board the MSC Grandiosa soon – cabins are open for booking from launch in November 2019 through to Summer 2020.
