You heard it here first! Sales for the first season of MSC Grandiosa will open on the 5th March. We are dedicating two weeks to members of MSC Voyagers Club before general sales open on 19th March.
Making it five new ships in just three years
With so many extraordinary ships entering the MSC fleet, it can be hard to keep track. MSC Meraviglia and MSC Seaside joined in 2017, MSC Seaview will be inaugurated this June, while MSC Bellissima and now MSC Grandiosa will take to the oceans in 2019. There are many more ships to come after that too!
MSC Grandiosa marks another exciting moment in MSC’s history as it, the first Meraviglia-plus generation ship, offers MSC guests a whole new level of onboard indulgence. The ‘plus’ means a bigger ship, of course, and that will result in more public space per guest and new facilities compared to her sister ships. That includes a new dedicated restaurant just for guests booked with the all-inclusive Aurea Experience.
Two new Cirque du Soleil shows
MSC has already welcomed the world masters of live entertainment to the seas on board MSC Meraviglia, to rave reviews. This partnership is at the heart of our dedication to providing the utmost cultural experience to guests, both day and night, on board our next-generation cruise ships.
MSC Grandiosa will feature two new shows from Cirque du Soleil at Sea. Created exclusively for guests the shows will be performed the in dedicated entertainment space, the Carousel Lounge.
Details of the new shows will be revealed over the coming months, but after the success of the Viaggio and Sonor shows on MSC Meraviglia, this is one experience where you are not going to be disappointed, whatever the show!
The opening season
MSC Grandiosa will be christened in November 2019 and will spend its first winter season in the ever-popular Western Mediterranean.
An itinerary that will feature Genoa, followed by Civitavecchia, the gateway to Rome and then Palermo, the city lives and breathes its history as a crossroads between the Byzantine and the Arabesque, the Baroque and the Gothic. That will be followed by Valletta in Malta, Barcelona and then the up-and-coming, ever dynamic Marseille.
The opening offer
To celebrate the opening of sales of the grand ship, there will be a 5% early-booking discount for the next six months.
Members of the MSC Voyagers Club will get an exclusive two-week pre-sales period in which they can reserve their favourite cabins, before general sales open to the rest of the public on 19th March. Members will also be able to take advantage of their 5% club discount.
