Kaya FM Soul and Jazz Cruise


The second installment of the Kaya FM Soul & Jazz Cruise returns this year to set sail for the Portuguese Islands over three nights stay on the 5 star MSC Opera.

 

Last year Kaya FM shook up the south seas from Durban to Maputo with two thousand Afropolitan listeners  mesmerized for four days by soul and jazz superstars Jonathan Butler and Louie Vega & the Elements of Life. This year, South Africa's Best Commercial Radio station at the MTN radio awards will ensure that the experience is smooth and even more thrilling. 

 

The 2013 tour will feature performances from the stations top DJ’s including Bob Mabena,  T-Bose, Nicky B and Mo-G to name a few.The stellar Soul & Jazz artist line up will also be launched just before Kaya FM's birthday in August. 

 

Listeners are encouraged to arrange their personal transport to Durban. The MSC Opera is expected to depart from Durban Harbour at 13h00 on Friday 06th December. The cruise-liner will then arrive at the Portuguese Islands at 08h00 on Saturday 07th December. A full itinerary of entertainment and leisure time has been arranged on and off the ship. The Opera certainly has something for everyone.

 

Kaya FM understands the importance of family hence children are welcome to enjoy the cruise and the fun games and entertainment will be available for them.

What dates is the cruise scheduled for?

  • The Cruise is taking place from Friday 06th December to Monday 09th December 2013
  • Departures from Durban Harbour on 06th December is at 13h00 and expected arrival at the Portuguese Islands at 08h00 on the 07thDecember
  • Returns to Durban at 07h00 on Monday 09th December 2013

 

Where can we get rates for the cruise?

  • All bookings go live on Monday 15th July 2013

 

Transport to Durban

 

It is advisable to plan your personal transport to Durban, taking into account your preferred mode of transport and available time and budget. Kaya FM however will be speaking to road and air transport partners to package special deals so keep a look out for these

Can children come along on the trip?

 

  • Kaya Fm is all about the family so children are welcome. There are however limited family cabins available so please ensure that you book early.
